  • One patient , 1 companion (Note: Maximum of two (2) companions are allowed if the patient is PWD, Senior Citizen and Minor Ages.)
  • Visiting age must be 7 years old above, if 7 years old below it’s a case to case basis and shall be approved by the Management.
  • Wi-Fi upon admission is free for 24 hours.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Well Baby : 11:00am – 12:00nn , 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Sick Baby : 10:00am – 11:00am , 3:00pm – 4:00pm (upon request of viewing only)
NOTE: The IPC (Infection Protection Control Committee) may restrict visitations during infection outbreaks such as Covid, Chicken Pox, etc

Patient's Right

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center, places our patients -YOU, at the care of our practice. We see to it that an experienced and expert team of health-care practitioners will take care of you as soon as you walk in our facility. We want you to be well informed to be able to communicate openly with the healthcare team. This is why we want you to know your rights and responsibilities as a patient in our hospital to promote you safely and participate in your treatment. We invite you and your family to join as active members of the care team. If you do not understand, or need help understanding your rights, we will provide you with assistance.

Your Rights as a Patient As our patient, you have the right to:

  • Receive considerate and respectful care and treatment in a clean and safe environment without discriminations with regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or source of pay.
  • Receive care in a safe environment free from all forms of abuse, neglect, or harassments.
  • Receive emergency care, if you need it.
  • Know the identity of physicians, nurses and other involved in your care.
  • Give written informed consent before any non-emergency procedures begins.
  • Privacy while in the hospital and confidentiality of all information and records.
  • Receive complete information about your diagnosis, treatment and prognosis treatment and prognosis in easy-to-understand terms.
  • Refuse treatment examination or observation by a particular healthcare practitioner and can request for their replacement.
  • Receive all the information you need prior to giving you informed consent which includes the proposed procedure or treatment, including possible risks and benefits, and “DO NOT RESUSCITATE” orders.
  • Receive a written discharge plan and description of your medications.
  • Receive an itemized bill, including an explanation of your charges.
  • Ask about the care and services you receive.
  • Designate a legal representative to receive information regarding the services you will be receiving or other vital information. Specifically, if you are medically unadvisable to receive information or make any decision.
  • Be informed of hospital policies and practices that relate to patient care, treatment and responsibilities.
